Q: Does Tahoe-LAFS work on embedded devices such as a [PogoPlug](http://www.pogoplug.com) or an [OpenWRT](http://openwrt.org) router?
A: Probably! François Deppierraz contributes [a buildbot](http://allmydata.org/buildbot/builders/Fran)çois%20lenny-armv5tel which shows that Tahoe-LAFS builds and all the unit tests pass on his QNAP TS-109 NAS box running under Debian Lenny. Someone joins the mailing list and asks about this approximately every month (see [the archives](http://allmydata.org/pipermail/tahoe-dev/)). All you embedded device lovers ought to get together and try it out and report to the list.
Q: Does Tahoe-LAFS work on Windows?
A: Yes. There are two ways to do it: either (a) Get the installer from allmydata.com. This installer installs Tahoe-LAFS, a Windows virtual drive backed by Tahoe-LAFS, and a backup client that runs on Windows. It is configured to use the allmydata.com production grid. Allmydata.com charges a monthly fee for the use of their grid (see <http://allmydata.com> for details), or you can edit the configuration file to point it to a different grid. or else (b) Follow these instructions to build on Windows: [InstallOnWindows](InstallOnWindows).
