The misc/ directory has several different types of things piled together in it without organization and some of those things are obsolete and should be removed. I've just reorganized it all and will show the patch in this ticket.

Looks fine. I haven't checked whether all references to the changed paths have been updated; I assume you grepped for other occurrences?
